Grinding Gear Games has issued the upcoming content schedule for ARPG Path of Exile. So far, the game is nine weeks deep into the Harbringer Challenge League, so understandably there will be a lot of players wondering how long is left to complete the challenges, as well as what’s coming between now and the launch of the next expansion.
The next expansion will indeed be a “full-sized Path of Exile content expansion”, bringing Content Update 3.1.0 which is likely to launch on Friday, December 1st. The content update will be joined by new challenge league, though it is worth noting that in this particular instance there won’t be a beta for the expansion. This is because it is around the same size as previous expansions such as Ascendancy and Atlas of Worlds, and the team hope to launch the Xbox One version of it as close to the PC release as they can.
Three weeks prior to the release of the expansion will be a full announcement of what you can expect, so that altogether leaves both the league and expansion at around eight weeks away. In the meantime, there is still plenty to do in PoE, with another seven weeks left to run in the Harbringer League, which will end of November 27th. Usually, there would be a thirteen-week period running for challenge leagues, but this one is being run a little longer.
Path of Exile is now available on PC and Xbox One.
