The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game was a really popular game, and since the dawn of digital card games is here, this one also got its own digital version. Pathfinder Adventures seems to be a pretty enjoyable experience judging from the user reviews on Steam, although it does have quite a fair amount of bugs. But, the patch notes for Hotfix Patch 18.104.22.168 have been revealed so some bugs will be fixed soon enough.
First, let’s go over the gameplay changes that will come in this hotfix patch.
There was a certain problem that appeared when you delete a character with a nickname, as the server then repaired the local version of those missing characters every time Pathfinder Adventures launches. This caused the “nickname” bug, as this made more duplicate characters to fill up the roster of playable characters. This bug was fixed, but characters that are nicknamed in Chinese probably still won’t be visible, but the developers are working on fixing this as well.
When you find yourself in Sandpoint Under Siege, Jorgenfist’s Stone Giant henchmen will now urge you to close the scenario. Cards like “Old Friends” that have the Owner Trait won’t be given to characters anymore, and they will appear in the character’s stash once they’re earned. The instance where spells and locations that have the ability to move characters to other locations would run into a progression break was fixed, but the issue where movement spells can still bypass the damage taken when you move to a new location in the Bar Brawl is still not fixed.
Now, let’s get into the other changes that were made, like the ones that affect the Store.
Six chests in the store now cost 2500 Gold. When you buy Rise of the Goblins outside of iOS it will mark itself as owned. The bug where the Master Dice bundle wasn’t properly showing up when purchased was fixed.
Lastly, the iOS and Android achievements should correctly appear.
