Indie developer and publisher The Behemoth have released Pit People on Steam Early Access and on Xbox One Game Preview. This will be the developer’s first game to feature on any early access programs, and will be their first to release on two separate platforms in the same year.
Pit People is a turn-based, co-op adventure in which players will head out on quests to pick up loot, recruit strange species and much more. The game boasts a single player story mode, a two player co-op story mode and a 2v2 arena mode for four players.
Those who participate in the early access of Pit People will be able to buy the game for a discounted price of $14.99, which will make the full game available to them once its been released. Meanwhile, Xbox One players who own Castle Crashers Remastered and Pit People on the same Xbox account will get exclusive unlocks in the game.
Whilst development continues for Pit People, the early access should be enough to tide fans over, as plenty of content will be on offer. This includes a decent sized piece of the Story mode, and access to several world maps, AI challenges, Versus mode and quests to partake in. Whether you experience Pit People by yourself or with a friend, you’ll have plenty to do in the time being whilst The Behemoth continues development.
All multiplayer modes are available to play, either locally or online. The full release of the game will cost $19.99, with early access copies upgrading to the full version free of charge.
