One thing that players expect in an expansion of an MMORPG isn’t just content growth, it’s growth of the game itself. They want improvements to the games classes, items, and more. After all, if it was just new content coming, it likely wouldn’t need such a grand release. Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire is the latest expansion in the popular MMORPG, and players have been working hard to see and find all the things that have been changed in it. And now, the list is mostly complete.
Thanks to a team of players, one of which is Redditor Fennec.2961, there is a list detailing the more nuanced updates to the game. This includes how to proceed in Raids and what the character classes have gone through via the update.
For example, the Warrior class honestly didn’t receive too much of a boost via the expansion. However, some of its techniques did get nerfed a little. Because of these nerfs, the DPS has been outclassed by quite a few of the brand new Elite Specializations. So you might want to adjust accordingly.
As for the other classes, the Guardian seems to be a pretty solid choice after the update, as it will be a good fit against any boss. Meanwhile, the Thief class gets the distinction of being, “one of the biggest losers of this expansion of endgame PvE.” The Ranger though has one of the coolest abilities via this expansion as you’ll be able to merge with your pet for some boosts to your power, so don’t miss the opportunity to do that if you can.
The full list goes into greater detail on all of these, so if you’re playing Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire and you want to see what you should do, go check it out.
