Gaming is a very expensive hobby, and for some consoles, you have to pay for certain services. Which, naturally, can make the hobby even more expensive. However, when it comes to the PlayStation Plus service, Sony makes sure that it’s worth your time. For not only do you get exclusive deals and sales on certain games every month, you also get a batch of free games that you can play. Every month brings something new, and Sony is kicking off the new year in style with some high-profile games being available.
First up is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The latest entry in the renown and beloved RPG series has you going to war in a bid to try and save humanity and the augmented races from each other. True to the style of the game, you’ll be able to craft Adam Jensen’s style into whatever you want it to be. Do you want to do things stealthily? Do so. Rather take an aggressive approach? That option is there for you too. With the fate of the Deus Ex games up in the air at the moment, this may be the last one you get to play for a while.
The other big one is the first season of Batman – The TellTale series. The first season shows you a very different side of the world of Batman, twisting the roles and characters in ways you don’t expect. Batman must find out the truth behind his parents, as well as how to save the city from not only Carmine Falcone, but also the mysterious Children of Arkham. Your choices define what you do in the game, so be careful.
The other games available via PlayStation Plus include Sacred 3, The Book Of Unwritten Tales 2, Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, Uncanny Valley, and Starblood Arena.
