For the millions out there deeply immersed in Pokemon Sun and Moon, a new global mission is on the way, and when it arrives tomorrow, there are certain things to be aware of.
The global missions, for those who don’t know, ask the entire player-base for these games to solve a collective challenge or a group goal, expecting every player to come together to achieve a common goal. As beautiful as it is, the call to action for the previous mission (which ran from November 29th to December 12th) was a bit steep, demanding a collective 100 million Pokemon.
Those of you who play the games probably realize that this is quite a difficult task, even with such a large unit working towards it. This time around, players are being asked to use the island scan feature to “capture or defeat a million Pokemon” which is much more feasible.
One can participate simply by going through the Festival Plaza option, and walking right to the castle.
Participants can earn two thousand festival coins, so this isn’t an event you want to miss.
Pokemon Sun and Moon has received overwhelming praise and critical acclaim, with its sales grossing some of the highest numbers within its launch weekend that Nintendo has ever seen in the company’s history. These words shouldn’t be taken lightly. It’s no wonder that a feat such as global challenges would be possible, given such a dedicated fan base. You will be able to participate in the second global mission for Pokemon Sun and Moon starting tomorrow, December 27th.
