Bless Online in an upcoming MMORPG from Neowiz, a South Korean game developer. In a statement to MMORPG.com, Neowiz ensured players that the game will indeed be coming to the West despite its recent contract termination.
Back in September, Neowiz (NBS) and their partner Aeria Games (AG) decided to terminate the contract that was going to bring Bless Online to North America and Europe. According to the statement, Aeria Games expressed concern for the in-game performance and the combat system and while Neowiz was working hard to correct the problems, the work wasn’t done fast enough.
This additional development period was not aligned with AG’s business milestone, and of course we respect AG’s opinions.
This spelled doom for Western fans, or so we thought. With this new statement, Neowiz is assuring North American and European players that they will still be able to play in the future.
NBS believes the EU/NA Bless fans are very valuable to us so we commit to deliver game updates directly to you.
Bless Online is a high-fantasy MMORPG running on Unreal Engine 3. A landscape tool was developed specifically for the game by Epic Games. The story tells the tale of two factions, Hieron and Union, divided by war. Players can choose between the two factions, eight classes, and ten unique races to make a character that fits their personal story in the massive game world. Whether you are a stealthy Sylvan Elf assassin, a powerful Siren mage, or a tough-as-nails Pantera berserker, Bless has a character option for you.
