Portal Knights is an action-RPG game that has you traveling to other worlds that are randomly generated before your eyes. It’s a very large game with a lot to do. However, there have been some issues with fans about the time between events in the game. Players feel it’s much too long, and thus have asked the developers of the game to consider reducing it to something more beneficial for all. Well, the team has decided to listen in a big way.
Because before, the events in the game would happen every six hours, which is a long time when you think about it. But now, as revealed on Steam, they’re reducing it to one hour. This will apparently come via update 1.2, which is said to be coming very soon to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. So this should satisfy many fans requests, and then some. Though a date for the update has not been specifically given yet.
Another update that’s coming via 1.2 is placeable props. This is an improvement within Portal Knights because for a while players wouldn’t get the option of keeping certain items once they were mined, but now they can, and then they can put those items in their houses. There’re even more decorations in dungeons that you can collect and thus make your house even more exquisite.
All of this just adds to the grand scale of Portal Knights. Where you get to pick a class and travel to and through amazing random-generated worlds. In real-time combat, you’ll level up your character, learn new skills, craft items and weapons, and much more. As you travel throughout the worlds you’ll find out just how life-life the game is in terms of random occurrences you can take part of.
So jump on into Portal Knights, you might just have fun.
