Revelation Online has an upcoming closed beta testing(CBT 3) that is arriving on January 19th. This is the third one, and it involves things such as a new level cap limit and PvP modes amongst a bunch of other features. But we’re not going to focus on that. Today, we’re talking about the new equipment that is coming along with all of this.
With the CBT3 starting, players get to experience new quests and challenges which, of course, bring some great rewards. Equipment such as badges and talismans are waiting to be claimed.
Let’s start off with the new talisman system. Talismans are a great addition to your character. They are unique and bring a new dedicated slot for each player that manages to complete the Tower of Pain on hard mode after reaching level 60. There are four ways in which you can upgrade your talismans and those are:
- Shaping: You can do this with the Dolor Leaf that you get after finishing the Tower of Pain
- Imbuing: This requires the Moonlight Crystals that feed experience into the talisman. There are 3 versions of the moonlight ingredients: Moonlight Fragment, Moonlight Crystal, and Moonlight Gem
- Transmuting: With this option, you can transfer the imbuing level from one talisman to another talisman
- Augmentation: Once you unlock a few requirements, your talisman can be augmented, meaning it will gain a few extra stats after you augment it
Coming along with the talisman system is the new badge system. Badges focus on increasing the 5 basic stats: Intellect, Spirit, Dexterity, Physique and Strength. These badges can be earned via PvP and PvE. Another way to get a badge is by opening the Level 1 Badge Chest that grants you a level 1 badge. You can get a higher-level badge by combining low-level badges in order to upgrade. These badges can also be augmented. This can be done by attaching runes to them which will give a few extra stats after the augmentation.
