Betas are essential for many games. But you could argue that it’s the most important for MMOs and MMORPGs. As these titles have vast worlds, many layers of gameplay that have to be tested, not to mention the always online component and servers that house the players and various parts of the world. For Revelation Online, their latest beta has officially gone up. The one that is based in Russia.
For the time being, those who participate in the open beta test in Russia will have access to one of seven different servers. Kuromi, Kraytos, Gordon, Hangmarr, Raelis, Atum, and Morfida (according to our translation attempts). Now, each server is set to hold over 8,000 players, but as the team notes, many servers are popular compared to the others, so there’s inevitably going to be some overwhelming, which may lead to temporary downtime. Thus, they ask that you go to this server page, and join a server that is a little less crowded so that everyone can play with no major issues as the beta goes on.
They also note that players who are already part of a guild can get verified on any server. Furthermore, those who ordered early access kits will indeed have access to those items, as well as any other gifts that were granted during the leadup to the open beta test.
Finally, any activities that were scheduled for today have been delayed due to a day of mourning in Russia. There will be updates on the moved events soon.
So, if you’re in Russia, and have been waiting for this, Revelation Online is officially open to play! Have fun!
