Revelation Online’s first closed beta is coming to an end today, and the developers decided to show some numbers to us!
The lucky few who got into the first closed beta test played the game and they definitely had fun with it, but just how many people played the game, how many characters were created, how many dungeon runs were completed and such information is collected by developers, and well, the guys behind Revelation Online showed the info behind their first closed beta test. The players who got to play the game needed to provide their feedback to the developers to help with the bugs, glitches and so on, which was quite a helping hand to the developers, so they decided to show the first closed beta’s info graph in return.
We even get to see how much time was spent on the character creating, which is 24 minutes per character. This shouldn’t be surprising, as these new MMORPGs really have awesome, detailed character creation engines. You can make any fantasy character you want, so we were actually expecting to see more time spent on character creation, but the players were probably too excited about playing the actual game and not spending hours with the creation of their character.
We also get to see which classes were the most picked, and Gunslinger and Swordmage were the two most popular picks. PvE was also much more popular than PvP, but hey, there’s still time to learn about the game so this will definitely change in the future!
Let’s just hope that next time we get to play Revelation Online ourselves, so we can become a part of the next info graph!
