Riders of Icarus recently had a big update, one that brought with it a range of new items, content, and features. As such, the team has made a special post detailing just what you can find in the game now, as well as when you should participate in some of the new content. Here’s the highlights.
First up, there’s a brand new Field Raid Boss. This one has the name of the update itself: Sandstorm.
Now, right off the bat, Sandstorm is not meant for anyone who’s under level 50. This is a powerful Raid Boss, and you’ll need both skills and help to defeat it. But…should you be ready, he’s in the Cloying Wastes, more specifically though, he’s in the Terminus Dunes. Remember when I said you would need help with Sandstorm? Well, the development team agrees, because they recommend having a team of 40, yes, 40 players to try and take him down. Stronger together right?
Is PVP (Player-Vs-Player) more your style? Well, Riders of Icarus has had a big update there too. Mainly in the addition of a very special PVP Zone called Stygaea. And guess what? This is the land of dead! Perfect for PVP combat! But, there’s a twist in this. Because in Stygaea, it’s not just about fighting your fellow player. Rather, it’s about fighting the players from another server. Yes, this PVP Zone is a “server vs. server” PVP Zone. So all Riders you see from your server? They’re your allies. Ones that aren’t? They’re enemies, all of them. So be prepared for that.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of this. There’s also solo dungeons, a cross server lobby, new items in the shops, there’s a lot that’s been added to Riders Of Icarus. So check out their patch notes for the full breakdown.
