The AION team officially announced that there will be several events running in the game from March 22nd to April 4th. There will be a shop game known as Shugo that has already been an event in AION, and a culinary event called Axe Soup made up from several smaller events like quests, instances, hunting down hidden monsters and so on.
From the 22nd of March, you can participate in the Shugo Event hosted by the Black Cloud Merchants. The merchants are not going easy with their valuable prizes, so if you decide to enter the event you have a possibility of winning many valuable prizes including a few Tame Wolf items, the so-called Ulsaruk Wings, a Prigga Legion and it’s +10 Manastone Bundle, and many others.
In order to participate in this event, you will need a Shugo Game Token. The more you upgrade your weapon, the better your final reward will be. This is an upgrade game, so failing is always a possibility. Should this happen you will receive a level 1 reward and a chance to start all over. You choose up to which level you want to go from the 8 levels, and when you hit the stop button the reward will automatically be yours.
The second big event is the Axe Soup, where you need to show off your cooking skills in order to win some grand prizes. The Old Lady of AION will taste your soup and you will get one of the three major rewards depending on how delicious it is. The event starts on the 23rd of March and goes until the 5th of April and to have access you need to do several pre-quests that you can find near the Old Lady. The quest rewards are the four ingredients needed for your soup recipe and once you are done with the daily event you earn AION’s currency, Jakunerk. Maximizing the efficiency during this period will earn you a lot of Jakunerks which will be really helpful for your gaming.
