Smite Tactics is a turn-based strategy game that has you control an army of mythological beings and deities in a quest to reign supreme against other players, or against the game itself. The game is currently going through beta stages, and as such, they released new Patch Notes for what has been added to their most recent one. Here are the highlights.
First up, there will be two new maps, Chinese day and Chinese night. There will also be a new Chinese leader in the form of Guan Yu. In the Egyptian Map, there will be three new ceremonial urns that will be added, so that players can use them to their advantage in game.
Some new cards have been added too in the form of Blademaster, Discord, and Judgment. Sticking with combat, there are new Attack Indicators being added via the patch. These will help better show you the options you have in combat against your opponent.
In regards to Daily Quests, they increased the Favor reward for every Quest in the game by 30. Which they note is a result of watching players from the previous beta tests, with more boosts to rewards being evaluated as time goes on. Campaigns are bringing brought back for the next closed beta, although they’re coming back with some improvements.
A big change for Smite Tactics is how Leaders are used. Using their special abilities won’t exhaust the leader, therefore making them more usable in battle, and helping you complete your strategies without fear of losing said leader. Also, many of the leaders have had tweaks and balances to make them more fair to the game at large. The same can be said of the God Powers, which have now be altered to activate by themselves instead of being activated by players.
More changes are being made to Smite Tactics, so be sure to check out everything that’s happening before the next beta arrives so you won’t be caught off guard.
