The beautiful thing about and patches, updates, and DLC is that they can be about whatever the developer wants. They can choose to fix certain things, add certain things, or give you new content in particular areas, it just depends on their goals for the game. For Sniper Elite 4, they’ve been releasing a new campaign via patches/updates called Deathstorm. This three-part campaign has been something very special to fans, and now, the final part of it, called Obliteration, is available now.
This was revealed on the Sniper Elite 4 Steam Page, where the team went into great detail about what the final part of the campaign would be like. You see, Deathstorm takes players to WWII Germany, a place that hasn’t be in Sniper Elite games since V2 in 2012. The campaign has you trying to find, infiltrate, and take out a secret Nazi nuclear program called Deathstorm. In part 3, you have seemingly found the location of the project, and so it’s now or never for you to take it down.
But there’s a lot more to this Sniper Elite 4 than meets the eye. Yes, there’s the new single player content, but that’s just the beginning. This is a full-on patch, and as such, some interesting changes have been made.
For example, fans have been asking for the ability to change reticles on their rifles, now you can. If you’re at the shooting range, you can now adjust the wind level, so you can either raise or lower the difficulty of your shot. You can also make it so your rifle remembers the zoom you put on it last time, that way you can go for the shot sooner.
Add to that a new multiplayer map, new difficulty setting, survival map, and other tweaks and adjustments, and this update is bringing a lot content for you to enjoy.
