According to the post from developer Streum On and publisher Focus Home Interactive, the Beta was a huge success. They reportedly garnered over 3,000 messages from Beta players in just the last five days. The team is focused on optimization, as well as addressing some major technical issues, leading up to the game’s official release on December 9th.
Players have pointed out that the they experienced some serious technical issues in the game. The player Abrax was first to comment, saying that, while the game was fun, hosting matches often gave rise to fatal errors for the host a few minutes into the action. Another player, Dogir, points out exceedingly long load times for matches, sometimes in excess of 30 minutes.
Wolfiefang is much less gentle about the Beta experience. According to the player, they were disappointed “greatly” and the developers have a lot of work to do, “otherwise you are likely getting a lot of refunds.”
