Spellforce 3 is a mixture of many genres, not the least of which are RPG, RTS, and in some ways MMORPG, mainly because of its PVP nature. Players can go 1-on-1, 2-on-2, or even 3-on-3 in epic matches to test their skills. The game is set to launch on December 7th, and to ensure the game was up to snuff, the team released a beta that only recently ended. It seems to have been a great success, but, players also had a lot of questions for the team.
So, the team decided to answer as many questions as they could, and posted them all on Steam for players to read.
The first few questions were about bugs, which obviously the team is still fixing before its true launch. The team promises that general stability and other performance issues will be fixed, they just need some more time. However, once the game is launched and if you see a bug, they ask that you report it here.
Other questions focused on the gameplay. Including how customizable the characters in the game will be. Apparently, they’ll be VERY customizable, with you being able to pick their look, weapon, and how they progress via various skills trees that Spellforce 3 will have. Which apparently is up to six different ones. So your character will truly be your own.
Another question led to the reveal that though there won’t be a “free game mode”, you will be able to play the entire campaign with another player in true co-op.
The balance of the game is another thing that the team will be working on constantly. They want the feel of the game and battles within it to truly be balanced.
You should definitely check out the full Q&A to see how things are progressing in the game and what other questions were answered.
