The mobile market for games is always growing, and developers are trying to use their own big titles to help influence the mobile market. Or, they’ll put games on the mobile market to try and get those gamers to buy their big AAA titles. Square Enix is a big proponent of this, and they’ve decided to up the ante a bit with their mobile games.
As revealed on Twitter by Square Enix Montreal, their entire mobile games lineup, Deus Ex GO, Lara Croft GO, and Hitman GO, are now all free to download via the Amazon Underground. We have the links to them above.
This is actually quite a big thing, especially for Deus Ex GO, which only released last year in line with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Though, regardless of how you think about it, free is free, so you should definitely capitalize on it.
Deus Ex GO puts you in the role of Adam Jensen from the recent Deus Ex games. However, instead of it being a third-person RPG of sorts, you move him around as a puzzle piece through a board game while avoiding obstacles and manipulating the environment. And, just like the titles he’s in, Jensen can hack environmental features such as turrets and platforms to bypass and eliminate enemies.
Lara Croft GO is similar, yet with the exception that you have to move Lara around to solve environmental puzzles and get treasure.
Then there’s Hitman GO, which started this all off, you play as Agent 47 as you weave through grid-like levels in order to reach your goal and kill your targets.
So, if you’re in the mood for free games, head to the Amazon Underground and download these titles.
