Star Trek Online lets you boldly go where no man has gone before, and allows to explore the universe that is filled with not only humans, but Klingons, Vulcans, Romulans, Ferengi, and much, much more. Yet, like all MMORPGs, the game needs tweaking, so there’s patches that are constantly made to ensure the quality of the title. A new patch was released on the 16th.
Here are some of the highlights of the patch. First up, the Tzenkethi Battlezone has been altered, in regards to how enemies re-contest areas that are currently controlled by players. Mainly, once players capture an area, it will remain under their control at least 10 minutes, there cannot be any more instant takebacks. Second, if there any players still in the area, enemies cannot take them back.
In the Foundry: there are now more Reputation outfits. Here are the ones you can get in the costume editor: Iconian Resistance, Temporal Defense Initiative, or the Lukari Restoration Initiative.
There have also been Systems errors that were resolved. A frame rate drop caused by Paradox Bombs and Timeline Collapses has been fixed. Along with issues concerning Weapon Haste affect powers that had nothing to do with weapons. Then, the Aftershock Gravity Wells have been boosted so that they cause the intended damage they were supposed to do. Along with other weapons fixes, upgrades, or nerfs.
