Star Wars Battlefront II is one of the most highly anticipated games coming out this year. And in fact, we’re about 5 weeks away from its release. So not surprisingly, a beta for the game was released last week for players to try out and get a feel for what they can expect in it. Naturally, those who are having fun don’t want the game’s beta to end, as they’re loving the massive battles on the ground, in space, being able to control their favorite Star Wars characters, and more. And now, they’ll have a little extra time to do it.
Why? Well, because EA has extended the beta’s length. Eagle-eyed fans found on the event page for the beta that the closing date is now on October 12th. Now yes, while it’s not a massive amount of extra time, it still is a longer beta, and that means you have more time to try out everything before it ends and you have to pay for the full game. So why not take the time given?
EA and DICE have been working hard to ensure that Battlefront II is grander than the original in every way. There’s a brand new story that will fill the gap between episodes VI and VII, the space battles are much more intense and feature all sorts of massive battle areas. There’s new maps and locations, loads of new classic players to be, and more. Add that to a special upgrade system and now you got a more customizable gameplay experience for you to fine tune your playstyle with.
Now, there have been some concerns coming out of the beta. Mainly because there are Loot Crates in Battlefront II, and early indications seem to point to a “Pay-2-Win problem.” But the final verdict will have to wait until Battlefront II arrives November 17th.
