Team Fortress 2 is held in very high regard, not he least of which is because it’s one of the best and most fun games ever released. And, with it being Free-To-Play on Steam, it makes it even more accessible to players all over the world. But despite being over ten years old, the game is still improving. In fact, just recently it got a major haul via new content. But, that doesn’t mean that the game doesn’t need fixes, and so on Steam today, a patch notes update was released and detailed.
Many bugs were fixed in this patch, including one that would allow players to get out of bumper-car and the ghost mode while playing on the Halloween maps. There was also a community server client crash that was affecting some players, Valve has resolved this.
Many weapons have been fixed too, including the Flamethrower, which wasn’t showing damage to certain items when hitting them. Or the Second Banana not attacking the right body group of a character.
Cloaking errors, melee bugs, and localization files issues were all fixed in the update. So be sure to check it out and ensure that you know all that was updated. It might surprise you what was fixed.
With these fixes, Team Fortress 2 players can now focus on either the classic or the brand new maps that have come to the game. The recent “Jungle Inferno” update for the title has brought a menagerie of new things for people to enjoy. Not the least of which is an official new map, and five community maps, making fights even more fun.
There’s also new Taunts, new weapons, new warpoint, 36 campaign contracts for you to complete, and of course, so much death and destruction to be had. So check out the game and see just how much fun it continues to be.
