Recently, flying dragons were introduced to the TERA EU shop, and now the Mighty Dragons are confirmed to be a permanent addition to the game.
After the maintenance, these Dragons will be obtainable through Dragonwing Scales. Scales can be earned by completing specific quests from instances.
First, you need to clear the Vanguard daily quests, or by finishing the Harrowhold and acquire them as a bonus group drop. Secondly, after collecting 50 of the Dragonwing Scales, right click them to exchange them for one Petrified Egg. The content that’s inside the egg is either a Dragonwing Talon or a Mighty Fire or Armored Dragon. The Dragonwing Talon is an item that lets you keep trying to get the Dragon you want, and also making the task easier if you’re unlucky getting it. If you happen to get 8 Dragonwing Talons, these can be converted into a Mysterious Dragon Egg. This Egg has the same items of Petrified Egg, but, this can get you two Dragonwing Talons instead of just one.
The Vanguard Initiative instances where you can get the quests for these items are: Shadow Sanguinary, Sky Cruiser Endeavor, Lilith’s Keep, Ruinous Manor and Corsairs’ Stronghold. These have different difficulties, but most are Hard to finish. In the Harrowhold, the bonus group drop for each stage are: Stage 1 and 2, 5 scales are dropped, at Stage 3, 7 scales, and on Stage 4, 10 scales. This group drop change will take effect after the reset this Thursday, December 1st.
These Dragons can fly for a total of 694 seconds (11 minutes and 33 seconds), with the speed of 290. Whilst on one of the dragons, the rider will get 1% MP and HP every second and the passive Ruler of Dragons.
Ruler of Dragons is acquired when the player adds a dragon skill to its skill book. Whenever critical damage is dealt to a monster there’s a chance the Dragon Power effect will be applied. The Dragon Power increases Critical Power versus monsters by 1.5 times every 6 seconds.
So start warning your party of friends, and your guild members and prepare to start hunting for Dragons! To view the complete information on The Mighty Dragons, check TERA EU official post.
