When updating a game, there are times when you need to focus on certain aspects. Whether it be the gameplay, the bugs that might be plaguing the game, the online features that make the game playable with others, or something entirely new. It really just depends on what the team wants as well as what the game needs at the time. For the team on the European side of TERA, they’re going to have a busy month in October. They’re working hard on update 61, which will bring many new features to the game, but that’s not all they’re improving.
In a post on Steam, the team talks about how they’re going to improve the TERA Club as well. They even outlined the planned changes. First up, just being a part of the club will grant you some special bonuses in the forms of permanent buffs. There’s already two buffs attached to players accounts, but now, they’ll get two more in the forms of a permanent Complete Cystalbind, as well as getting Crafting speed increased by 50%.
Not only that, but those who are enjoying getting weekly and monthly items via club membership will happy to know that more are coming. Now, it does come at a cost, as the Soulbinder Keys will no longer be a part of the club, but you will get double the Strongbox Keys, as well as being able to summon some NPCs to help you in the game. Oh, and you’ll also get an improved teleport scroll that’ll take you to an exclusive area only members can go to.
Other improvements include the items you’ll get in Ghillieglade, the treasure in other areas will be overhauled as well. All in all, it semes like those who are in the TERA club will be well off once Update 61 is released.
