Warface, is a free-to-play shooter, made by the team at Crytek Kiev, as well as the other parts of the Crytek studio. The game focuses on not only killing opponents, but working together with friends and other online players in a unique co-op mode to take down the Blackwood forces. Now the game will feature something completely new; a new publisher.
This comes straight from Warface’s former publisher Crytek, who has stated that the North American and European realms of the games community will be published by My.com. Lest you think this was a random selection, the team relays how it was My.com that published Warface in Russia, as well as in CIS countries. Though for those in Turkey, Crytek will still publish the game there. If you’re wondering why the change, Crytek claims that not focusing on the publishing will allow the crew to working on the title itself.
They aim to work on now only developing Warface more, but supporting the community, and evolving the title to an extent that shows the community that they have kept their word in regards to trying to make it the best game possible.
Crytek states that they have an exciting year planned for Warface, and that this “transition” will only make that happen even more, and possibly even better.
For NA and European players, you will have to migrate any Warface accounts you have the My.com site. Though Crytek confirms that they will soon offer a guide on how to do that. They want to make this conversion as painless as possible so you can continue to play the game without stress.
