Early Access games are always a gamble, as if you’re playing an MMORPG or an MMO, you can lose all of your progression when a wipe happens. They happen sometimes frequently and sometimes rarely, but they do happen. Thankfully, Wild Terra Online developers made sure that their players wouldn’t lose any of their progression that they made during the Early Access period.
You would also be worried if you had a lot of acquired property, rare mounts, and so on, therefore the players have been asking: “Will a full wipe happen, will I lose all of my stuff?” And the answer is no, a full wipe won’t occur. This is good news, as Wild Terra Online is reaching that stage where it will soon be released, and that usually means a full wipe.
During the game’s development that lasted for roughly 2 years, the developers always allowed the players to keep the property that they really liked, and that didn’t change, so when Wild Terra Online finally launches, you will get to keep the things that you worked hard to obtain. A new public test server is going to appear and it will be used to transfer the players and their possessions to this server. Unfortunately, if you have more characters that you like, you’re going to have to choose, as only one gets to transfer. These new PTS servers will have the same rules as the current PvE ones have, but they will work a bit differently. These servers will be on the general list of game servers, so everyone will be able to get in, but they will have different client versions that you need to select from the Steam library.
You can read more about these servers on their official announcement, and if you have any comments, be sure to leave them down in the comments section down below!
