When it comes to MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, you can expect a few things to be certainties. One of them is that a new expansion will come, and when it does come it’ll bring new things to bear, but also, take away some things that are “irrelevant.” While this is completely understandable in some aspects, it is worrisome for players who want to get certain things but are unsure if they’ll be able to keep them after they’ve gotten them.
Specifically, looks for player characters can sometimes be taken off the board as options. And that’s what Battle.net player Segkelb is fearing, as he revealed on the site. Apparently, he wants to get the “gorrilabear look” for his Druid character. But, he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to get it in time before Legion officially ends. And because World of Warcraft didn’t keep some looks that he liked from previous expansions, he fears not getting it at all.
Thankfully, the first post that came right after his topic was made was from a Community Manager from Blizzard. And they were knowledgeable enough to answer their burning questions. So, what’s the answer?
Well, any look you have unlocked will be available via Transmogrification, including artifact appearances. Blizzard apparently wanted to make sure that did happen. What’s more, if there were any appearances within the Legion expansion that you wanted to get but somehow didn’t, you will be able to get most of them after it ends. There only two exceptions are Mythic 15 Keystone Dungeon form and the appearances from the Mage Tower.
So it looks like with those few exceptions that everything is fair game, and that will be good news for players for sure. Does this make you happy knowing that certain looks are going to be available after Legion officially ends?
