This one goes to all new players that decided to try out these great games but have no idea how Blizzard develops their Battle arenas. First things first, if you, by any chance, played Dota 2, League of Legends or any other similar title don’t think your experience will help you.
One simple rule that Blizzard likes to point out in their games is objective. This rule can’t be applied to World of Warcraft or Diablo 3 since they are not built in that way, but Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch are.
Now, you must be asking yourself, “What the heck is he talking about?”
Well, my dearest gamers, the thing about winning in any Blizzard arena game is to take the objective. Simple as that. Do you want to win every game in Overwatch? Of course, you do! Who doesn’t?
So many people are running around, killing opponents and leaving the objectives unfocused. These types of players usually have lower winning percentage than the ones who group up and focus on tactics. The days when getting the highest score are way behind us and if you are here to boost your ego, go play something else. As long as there are team based games, there won’t be any room for single players skirmishes.
So, take my word on it and next time you start the round in Overwatch or Heroes of the Storm focus on the objectives and try to get your team on the same page. You will probably win that round.
