The struggle with MMORPGs is to keep constant content flowing so that players can enjoy the game virtually every day. For titles like World of Warcraft, they have to go even beyond this, making sure that every week or month feels special in its own way. So, the team at Blizzard plan out months full of events, and given that November is now here, players can now partake in a new string of events. But what’s coming? Here are the highlights.
Already in progress, and active until tomorrow, is the Day of the Dead festival. World of Warcraft players will gather in cemeteries all over the realm of Azeroth and recall those that have passed on. For those who are hoping for more fun fare, the Darkmoon Faire is returning from the 5th-11th! Join the troupe and see what mysterious and fun times await you. So don’t miss out on it!
Want something a bit more nostalgic? Well, from November 8th-15th, World of Warcraft will allow you to travel back in time to face the Lich King once more! That’s right, travel back to when the cold ruler almost took over Azeroth, and be ready for a fight as you re-experience things from that expansion!
On November 12th, the Moonkin Festival will happen, it’s a one-day celebration, so make plans to go and see it. Or, if you want some battle and some glory, the Battlegrounds Bonus Event happens from the 15th-22nd. This event will allow you to earn extra Honor if you’re at the right battleground.
A major event of sorts will happen between the 16th-30th. it’s WOW’s birthday! And as such, players will be granted gifts simply for logging in and playing.
There are even more events, so be sure to check out the full schedule, and make your November a memorable one.
