Fixing games after launch used to be impossible, but now, it’s a standard part of video game development. In fact, there are some developers who are so focused on fixing their game that they’ll do daily patches in order to make sure that the content is adjusted. Such is the case with Blizzard, as they make almost daily “hotfixes” to their MMORPG World of Warcraft to help make the game better. The latest one has just come out, fixing things, adding content, and balancing other aspects.
First up, the area of Argust has had some interesting additions and changes. For example, a Prime Naaru has arrived in the land, and seeks to help those who are in need. Another arrival is a stablemaster named Tassia Whisperglen, and she might be worth talking to. If you’ve gained any items or abilities via Class Hall Research you’ll now be able to use them in the land of Argus. Finally, for all you pet owners in World of Warcraft, the Fel Lava will no longer hurt your animals.
There’s only one class change, but it’s a good one. For the mage, the “Rule Of Threes” will now have the correct number (8) of missiles fired.
Meanwhile, with dungeons and raids, some of the bosses have had their stats and abilities adjusted. For example, Misstress Sassz’ine has had her health decreased by 5% in the Mythic Difficulty, and her Hydra Split Shot has had its damage decreased by 25% across every single difficulty. The Maiden of Vigilance and the Sisters of the Moon have also been adjusted.
Oh, and if you were a male Night Elf, and your hair wasn’t appearing before, it should be back now. You’re welcome.
Check out all the hotfixes to make sure you know what’s been fixed in World of Warcraft.
