Last week, World of Warcraft gave an update to the PTR (Public Test Realm) server. Now the team at Blizzard is asking for help to test the stability of a lot of the updates, as well as test some things that could release a lot of new content for next weeks build.
First up, Blizzard is opening the PvP Brawls from Patch 7.2. More specifically, they’re doing the Southshore vs. Tarren Mill matchup. For those who have been playing World of Warcraft for a while, you might actually recall this matchup from a certain anniversary a few years back. The real test here is that they want to ensure that the fights and brawls actually work in the environment of Patch 7.2.
For those expecting the new dungeon, and the new raid, you’ll be disappointed. Blizzard will not be releasing that as of yet. However, they promise to keep you informed as development in PTR goes on.
So, what’s the reward for helping make sure everything is good in testing? You’ll get a bunch of new content next week if things work out. For example, The Broken Shore will be opened up more. It’s currently somewhat visible now, but Blizzard says there’s a lot more to come.
In addition to that, there’s new World Quests, new Artifact Traits, the inclusion of the Legionfall faction, brand new additions to the Order Hall campaign, and finally, there will new content for both those who play in the open world, as well as those who prefer solo content.
But again, these will only be available should testing go well, so help out World of Warcraft and Blizzard by hopping onto the Public Test Realm!
