It is the duty of every game developer to consider what platforms to put their title on. For if it’s not an exclusive title, putting a game on multiple platforms could be highly lucrative, especially if you already have an established player base. Thus is the case with the hit game World of Warships. The game was released in 2015, and built up a following quickly, but now, the team wants to build it up even more by bringing it to Steam! The best part? It’s coming really soon.
To be clear, the Steam players will be joining the servers that are already online for the game. Which means you’ll be able to play with the larger World of Warships community. You’ll need to make your own account once you log in, but once you’re set up, you’re good to go. Plus, with servers in all the major regions of the world, you’ll be able to play no matter where you are.
The team is also excited to see what Steam players think of the game, and encourage you to use the Discussions section within the Community tab to let them and other players knows your thoughts. Your feedback can help make the game better.
But let’s get right to it, what is World of Warships? Well, it’s a game that boasts very accurate naval combat. In fact, this is accurate from both a gameplay standpoint, and a visual one. There are 200+ ships in the game from various counties and points of history that you can use and control in combat. You’ll have the ability to create your own fleet then take them into battle against other players. Or, team up with players to take on even greater challenges.
The ocean is your battlefield, will you be able to make it your own? World of Warships arrives on Steam on November 15th.
