Minecraft is easily one of the most popular video games of all time. As the freedom of the crafting and building game, even with the simplistic graphics, has resonated with players from all over. The game has been ported to numerous platforms, including PC’s, consoles, and even handhelds, just so everyone can have a chance to play it. Furthermore, the player base aims to try and make the title bigger all the time, even taking matters into their own hands to make it happen.
Which brings us to the WorldOfAncar Kickstarter. This is a bit of an odd one, as the goal is to fund an RPG server for Minecraft. Furthermore, the server is actually already done. The team at the Ancar Network have already built the “RPG Realistic” world themselves, have added 80+ new enchants, have created towns, kingdoms, have designed wars, etc. Basically, they’ve made everything a Minecraft server would need.
So, what’s the money for? Well, it costs money to make a server work, in regards to the quality, stability and ability to bring in players. This Kickstarter is to help fund the server through the next two years. Funnily enough, they aren’t even asking for much, and they actually have their goal exactly in 117 Pounds. No, like literally, they have it exactly.
Still though, they could always get more, and they have a little under 3 days to get more at the time of this posting. It’s clear the detail they’ve gone to make this special RPG Minecraft server/world. So, if you’re a Minecraft fan, and you’re looking for a new way to play the game, you might want to check this out.
